Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

This policy explains how PlanCub collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website, learning app, practice notebook and related services.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, the system may receive basic details from your Google account: your name, email address and profile picture.

When you use the service, we may store data you create in the app, such as profile details, notes, notebook entries, check-ins or forms you submit.

2. How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your account working.
  • Provide learning, practice and notebook features.
  • Save your progress, content and usage history to your account.
  • Support you, fix problems and improve the product.
  • Send notices about your account or the service when needed.

3. Google access

In the basic sign-in flow we only use the identifying details needed to create and verify your account: email, display name and profile picture.

PlanCub does not ask to read your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar or other private Google data unless you grant separate permission for a specific feature.

4. Google Calendar and Apple Calendar

When you use Calendar connection, PlanCub does not read data from Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. It only publishes the calendar you created in PlanCub through a private subscription link.

You can regenerate or revoke each link at any time. Do not share the link: anyone who has it can view the matching PlanCub calendar.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on the systems that run the product, including authentication, database and related infrastructure. We take reasonable measures to limit unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

Cookies and browser storage: we use only what the product needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your settings. When you choose light or dark mode, one functional cookie (plancub_theme) stores that choice for one year so it applies across PlanCub sites. It holds no personal data and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Product analytics: we use PostHog to count visits and key steps (such as signing up, creating a goal or task, viewing pricing and paying) so we can improve PlanCub. PostHog sets a first-party cookie shared across plancub.com sites. Once you sign in, these events are linked to your account email. We do not record your screen, and we never send the content of your goals, tasks or notes. These events are not used for advertising.

6. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for advertising.

Some infrastructure and technical providers, for example Google, Supabase and PostHog (product analytics), may be used to run sign-in, storage, security, analytics and delivery of the service. They are used only as far as needed for the product to work.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or improve the product.

If your account has no Pro plan, it becomes read-only when the trial or plan ends. Its notebook data is deleted 60 days after that. We email you before the deletion.

You can ask us to delete your account or personal data by emailing the address below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product, legal requirements or operations change. The new version is posted on this page and takes effect from the date shown above.
